CITeR is the first National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) focusing on serving its membership in the rapidly growing area of Biometric Identification Technology. With over a twenty-year track record, the NSF IUCRC Program has developed a winning recipe for the growth of national academic centers organized around identifying and meeting the needs of their membership.
